Don’t see it. Its horrible. The worst movie M. Night has made yet - and part of me thinks he should go ahead and give up. Some people think it was going down hill at The Village (which I actually like), but I think it was Lady in the Water. Below is the review that I wrote on Fandango… Its pretty creative if I do say so.
The only good thing about this movie is that it shows you a bunch of creative ways to kill yourself after wards. The bad news is that you have to wait 2 hours for the movie to finish.
Sometimes I post things just so I have a bookmark…
EarthCam is a collection of WebCams from around the world. From time to time I like to click through them and see what is going on other places (i.e. “is it raining there too?”)
The best one I have found is the Times Square NYC Live Cam. Its a full live feed with audio and everything. Since there’s that 3 hour east coast/west coast time difference, every time I check it it seems to be 2am-4am there. The funny thing is, there is always something to watch going on.
This guy plays with some killer intensity.
Seriously… There’s been a lot of good TV lately, and I wouldn’t be able to watch most of it if it weren’t for my trusty DVR from Comcast…
Here’s what the lineup looks like:
Tuesdays
Hells Kitchen - Love it, although there is way too much drama
Wednesdays
Top Chef - Better in some ways than Hells Kitchen (as in the chefs actually know what they are doing, and come up with some crazy stuff), but doesn’t have Gordon Ramsay making fun of them which kind of takes away from it
Thursdays
Lost - hate watching it “live” because of all the commercials
The Office - enough said.
Grey’s Anatomy - if only life in seattle were really like that
Sundays
Desperate Housewives - If you don’t watch this show because it’s “too girly” or “soap-opera like”, you seriously need to check it out.
Just a little something because I felt bad about not writing anything lately. It has been hectic.
So it turns out that its hard to write and post when you are out on the road. I could have I guess, but there wasnt much to write about anyways.
So, heres a quick and funny YouTube video, since it has been a little while since I posted one.
Its actually five commercials all wrapped up into one. I think that number three (the hospital one) is the best… Enjoy!
[EDIT: Looks like what I had posted before about the Vagabondish acquisition was something of an April Fools joke played a day early... not being too sure what to believe, ive decided to let you decide for your self... http://www.vagabondish.com]
[note: I just saw something about this on the National Geographic Channel and thought it was hilarious]
So, you want to live in Japan, but can’t bring your feline friend? Its okay, they’ve got you covered.
For just 700 yen ($7) an hour you can visit a Cat Cafe, where cats run around and play with human counterparts. Its like kitty-heaven.
Many people in Japan don’t own pets for a variety of reasons, and since playing with cats is supposed to be therapeutic, I guess that this would be second best…
(this blog here has a good article about the cafe’s)
This is my own little corner of the web to keep me busy. Although I dont really have any one subject to talk about, most of the stuff on here will probably be Tech or Travel related (seeing that they are the two things that I do most in my life). Have a look around, but remember that things around here are always changing.
